The beauty of my hotel location in San Francisco was that I could watch aircraft and enjoy the beautiful wild birds of the Bay. Near the hotel, a long shallow tide comes and goes across enticing mud flats. This Whimbrel was one of the birds enjoying its surroundings as much as I was enjoying mine. 200_2_P1100349
