Progress at Solent Retail Park (14) - 26 December…

27 Dec 2015 124
My Boxing Day series from the site of the extension to the Solent Retail Park comes three months after my visit of 27 September 2015 [qv]. I commented then that progress seems slow and, on reflection, that seems still to be the case although the building is now taking shape with some of the glazing in place. The remorselessly documentary nature of today's pictures will not appeal to everyone but is, I believe, necessary as a record of change in Havant. The series is relieved with some images of the considerable amount of plant on site for enthusiasts of such machinery. This trio includes a Landbuild Hitachi Zaxis 135US. 200_2_P1080325C
