To start my 'Warsaw Railway Museum' album, I have chosen this rather busy photograph explaining (in Polish) the classification system for locomotives and wagons. It will seem a little unfamiliar to many of my UK followers and I myself am right at the beginning of a learning process I intend to continue through careful curation of the photographs which follow. The explanation of the letters used to describe steam locomotive wheel arrangements (on the left) is interesting as Polish Railways appear to count the wheels on only one side of the locomotive - hence what we would call 2-10-2 is described as 1-5-1 and the suffix 'z' is used. 200_2_P1060984
