My two photographs of the former Warszawa Główna station introduce a series on the Warsaw Railway Museum [Muzeum Kolejnictwa w Warszawie] which is located there. The station, close to the present day Warszawa Ochota [qv], declined in importance after the 1975 opening of Warszawa Centralna [also qv] but lost its final passenger traffic only in 1997. It is rather glorious in a slightly austere way and well worth viewing in its own right during a visit to the museum. 200_2_P1060993
