My night shots are always clumsy and my night reportage has been hitherto non-existent but tonight the two came together in Cheltenham. A large part of a tree had fallen on to Promenade near Imperial Lane and modest traffic control was put in place. The Gloucestershire Police Astra left soon after the arrival of the clean-up vehicles and when I returned to the scene later in the evening the badly damaged tree had been severely polled and traffic returned to normal.
