Quiet today with powered flight prohibited and only gliding activities by the Surrey Hills Gliding Club and 615 VGS, Kenley Aerodrome, the former RAF Kenley is an historic site which was of particular importance in the Battle of Britain and throughout WWII. In this view, I am looking down on the former rifle range where airmen used to practice. The back wall is intact but the range area is mostly overgrown. It is, however, possible to get a little closer via a footpath. 200_2_P1070309
