Real life is, of course, in colour and that is an argument I have propounded many times in the past before being drawn inexorably to the attractions and sometimes advantages of b&w as in the previous shot. Nevertheless, colour brings something to even a scene as industrially grim as this view of Port Talbot Steelworks. It was raining and I decided that the smoke (or vapour) better suited the picture than a clear view of the plant. 200_2_P1050545C
