I like geese and I look forward to seeing new birds when I travel so I was a bit deflated when the geese I saw grazing on and paddling towards the shore at Akaroa were Canada Geese. The Canada Goose is an introduced species on New Zealand's South Island and is there in large numbers. 200_2_P1030875C
