Finsbury Town Hall (1895) on Rosebery Avenue administered the Metropolitan Borough of Finsbury which was amalgamated in 1965 with the Metropolitan Borough of Islington to form the the London Borough of Islington. The building today houses the Urlang Academy as well as providing event space. What attracted me to the building is the wonderful art nouveau stained glass and wrought iron entrance canopy. 200_2_P1040415
