The well equipped Station Pier was the Melbourne destination of Holland America Oosterdam on arrival from Port Chalmers (NZ). On the other side of the pier was 'Spirit of Tasmania I' which is one of two ferries which provides daily (and, seasonally, twice daily) service between Melbourne and Devonport, Tasmania.
