The Helston Railway operates seasonally on a restored section of the original Helston Railway which ran from Helston to Gwinear Road on the main line. Although officially closed until mid-December, I was allowed access to take my photographs and I am very grateful for the happy quarter of an hour I spent at Prospidnick. From camera are GWRPG Peckett and Sons 0-4-0ST no. 2100 'William Murdoch' (1949), Ruston & Hornsby 0-4-0 shunter 97649 (327974, built 1954) and brake van 'Daisy'. As is common amongst preserved shunters, the number carried is made up. This locomotive did not operate for BR. 200_2_P1140455
