It has, for various reasons, taken me a long time to get round to photographing Cornish mining remains. I find the buildings and their locations absolutely beautiful. The creative mind is stirred and a thousand pictures seem possible. The buildings themselves could be portals to another time. Today, a fortuitous meander in Camborne brought me across Stray Park engine pumping house, part of the former Dolcoath mine complex. Wonderful. 200_2_P1150095E
