Following my photograph of a Royal Mail Mercedes Benz Vito on the previous day, I was fortunate on Saturday 11 January 2020 to see another example in daylight near the British Museum. This shot reveals the rather clever livery with the green for the electric vehicle in evidence but the offside showing the more familiar Royal Mail red 'peeled back' to unwrap the van's green identity. A number of Royal Mail vehicles were parked in this Islington car park on a Friday evening, the most striking being a 69-reg electric Mercedes Benz Vito. The green is not its reported base colour and the more familiar red has been used on the vehicle behind which is also electric. 200_3_P1120140CE

The Mercedes Benz Vito is less common in police fleets than the Sprinter so it was nice to see this Wiltshire Police prisoner handling van, WX58RLZ, in Warminster. 200_P1050243C
