To hunt down former railway infrastructure is both exciting and frustrating even when the internet and books give some idea of what to expect. Sources often contain inaccuracies and there is nothing quite like being on the ground. I was given a great deal of helpful information by a man from M B Motors (left) but such is the extent of change in Midhurst that it is all but impossible properly to visualise the past. Station House is much modified but incorporates the former LSWR station. I saw some remnants of track but they would not have made very good pictures. X20_DSCF2737
