This was not originally listed for posting but I can not resist this kind of architectural detail and so the shot augments the preceding pictures of the former Eldridge Pope Dorchester Brewery in Brewery Square. 200_P1040901

The evening light enhances the already wonderful architecture of the former Eldridge Pope brewery in Dorchester's Brewery Square. A lot of work is going on to revitalise the area. The brewery building will become a hotel. The windows are filled with pictures but closer inspection reveals how much work there is to do. The hoardings around the square are rather incoherent and seem to have been done twice with parts of each set in awkward juxtaposition. The chimney is absolutely magnificent. 200_P1040902
