You can call it ugly but I like Class 70 (and the newer Class 68). The Freightliner livery does it some favours unlike that of Colas Rail. Here, 70020 stands at Millbrook FLT with containers. The locomotive was idling and I wondered if it was stuck in the terminal as work was going on at points adjacent to the station.

Millbrook (Southampton) is familiar to many rail enthusiasts and a place where one could spend hours - if there were not other things to see nearby. Between visits to Totton and Eastleigh, I captured this scene which reflects the growing freight traffic of today. To the left are the container wagons hauled by 66061 (featured earlier) as it waits for the right away into Southampton Western Docks; Class 70 70020 stands in the Freightliner depot as Class 66 66504 passes with another long load of containers.
