On June 2-4 2014, a number of Dakotas gathered at Lee on Solent in connection with the commemorations of the 70th anniversary of D-Day. They would depart to France to participate in events there. As usual, access to Lee on Solent airfield was limited - a source of frustration for many including me - so I did my best with a long lens.
