My pursuit of railway history continued today in Sturminster Newton in Dorset where the actual infrastructure of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway (S&DJR) has all but disappeared but the route and station are marked. The premises of today's Streeters Carpets on Station Road were part of the station buildings. A more recent extension can be seen just to the left. This is the 'track' side of the station with the roadway (actually part of the Station Road car park) where the tracks would have been. P1170175
