My pursuit of railway history continued today in Sturminster Newton in Dorset where the actual infrastructure of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway (S&DJR) has all but disappeared but the route and station are marked. The premises of today's Streeters Carpets on Station Road were part of the station buildings. A more recent extension can be seen just to the right. This is the 'town' side of the station. P1170164
