As we entered Castries, St. Lucia, it was a surprise to pass very close to the threshold of runway 09 at George F L Charles (formerly Vigie) airport [SLU/TLPC]. As the Celebrity Summit appoached its mooring and after I had taken my aircraft shots, I took this final picture. This is the third such experience I have had when cruising, the most prominent in my photostream being Isla Grande in Puerto Rico. The other is Peter O. Knight on Davis Islands, Tampa. This photograph is a compromise in my usual posting standards but it is not easily going to be repeated. I don't much care for unplanned people in my shots but I think the subject is rare enough (for my UK audience) to include even with the intrusion.
