Amongst my pictures you will find aircraft, trains, animals, buildings, blah, blah, blah; and then there will be the occasional classic Land Rover, carrying a mirror ball and advertising sparkling wine. Obviously. The cab could reasonably be described as 'drafty' especially as snow still lay on the ground. In an unwanted symmetry with one of my last posts of 2013 (Christmas Day), my first photographs of 2014 and the only pictures possible on a stormy day, are of ambulances at work. Another attraction at Netley Marsh Steam & Craft Show was this ex Hampshire Fire Brigade (Hamble) Land Rover GPX586N. For those of you interested in the minutiae of terminology (as I am) I have used 'Hampshire Fire Brigade' as displayed on the vehicle, as this would pre-date the current 'Hampshire Fire & Rescue'.
