The mystery of what is happening to the Cherque Farm No. 6 substation has deepened. It is probably a mystery only to me but I am having fun with these postings whilst also recording changes in Lee on Solent. When I first photographed this structure on 2 January , half the roof was missing. Yesterday the whole roof was removed. I am speculating that either the substation is to be decommissioned or that the roof has been removed intentionally to allow the craning in of new equipment perhaps to support the requirements of the nearby Magister Square development. 200_P1000292
