The Human Touch (19) - 30 January 2021

The Covid pandemic continues. Most people have accepted the value and purpose of wearing a mask but some still think this is acceptable. It is not. TZ70_P1030279E

The Human Touch (4b) - 8 July 2017

The latest pictures in my 'The Human Touch' series come from the same area as the first . Only yards from the site of that image was a similar scene which provides a commentary both on the littering habits of some and attitudes towards shopping trolleys. There is a certain convoluted irony in using a trolley as, essentially, a litter bin. 200_3_P1010878

The Human Touch (3) - 15 February 2017

Starkly illuminated by the rare use of flash, this painting-like image of litter against a background of tarmac is comment enough on the manners of a few consumers of fast food. To the west of Truro are two fast food restaurants and this is in the car park of one of them, though not the obvious one. I don't think one can directly blame fast food providers for the actions of some of their customers but I am angry when I see such sights across the country. It is quite literally beyond my comprehension how anyone can consume a meal and then leave all the remains and packaging in a public place, quite often intentionally ejecting it from a car to do so. 200_2_P1150140

Red Litter Day - 20 February 2014

Few things enrage me more than the wanton littering which is prevalent in CBA Britain today, a Britain where 'someone else will clear it up'. This is about both aesthetics and environment. Litter blights what we see around us and is slowly killing the planet - along with all the other wonderful ways we have found to do so. These three bottles - which were not posed - were, in fact three of five with two others nearby after I walked on. TZ30_P1010824
