In just two pictures I can show one of the favourite things I saw in Finland. Walking around Espoo, with no specific tasks for the camera, I came across an urban public garden, one might say allotment, with the notices shown - and in English too! This humble effort is not going to cause the greats of railway photography to lose any sleep but it marks a new direction for me with a view to further experimentation in the future. A lot of ten-thumbed editing got me this far. The picture shows a VR (Finnish Railways) emu slowing to a halt at Espoo. VR is not entirely without technical or punctuality problems but it does have an impressive and mostly modern fleet. The frequency on many routes makes it attractive to travel by train. 200_2_P1120675E
