Thomson B737-800 G-FDZB approaching runway 26L at Gatwick. This is an unexceptional picture but I wanted a further record of the Thomson scheme before the TUI branding is rolled out more widely. 200_2_P1110267C

Thomson B757-200 G-CPEU approaching 26L at Gatwick. This aircraft was once a Heathrow regular with British Airways. The Thomson branding is set to disappear in 2-3 years as a result of the reorganisation of parent company TUI. 200_2_P1050413C

G-TUIH approaching Gatwick - 24 June 2015

Thomson Boeing 787-8 G-TUIH approaching 26L at Gatwick. This branding is set to disappear in 2-3 years as a result of the reorganisation of parent company TUI. Due to the framing of the original shot, I have had to stray outside my 6x4 routine in order to achieve (what I hope is) a pleasing result. 200_2_P1050409C

Snapshots from Gatwick (5) - 4 September 2013

05 Sep 2013 157
Today's short series of snapshots is, in part, a reaction to the fact that it is now so unnecessarily difficult to photograph at London's airports and, in part, an attempt to continue to develop what can be done through an aeroplane window. Some record shots are, I think, worthwhile even with a little lack of quality so I snapped Thomson B787-8 G-TUIA as my first proper sight of a 787 (if you don't count a glimpse of the then stranded Qatari example at Heathrow).
