Landsbankinn is an Icelandic bank headquartered in Reykjavík. It was established in 2008 by the Icelandic government out of the domestic operations of its predecessor Landsbanki which failed during the 2008–2011 Icelandic financial crisis. It is one of the largest banks in Iceland and the history of its predecessor goes back to 1885. This branch is at Hagatorg (Brynjólfsgata). Hraðbanki is Icelandic for ATM. TZ30_P1040399R

I am not sure what message this Queen Street, Auckland ATM is delivering. On the one hand, I see a bit of fun and comforting social liberalism, on the other I see a sort of subliminal but probably unintentional stereotype. 200_2_P1030064
