John Oram's photos with the keyword: Ice Cream Van

I include this rather loosely in my 'Cars and Vans' album although its origins are unclear. It has a superficial resemblance to a Citroën Type H but does not have the manufacturer's grille nor does it have a single windscreen. Furthermore, on closer examination, you will see that the whole is on a trailer and that the 'rear wheels' are, in fact, those of the trailer. 200_4_P1010758E

I do not routinely photograph ice cream vans and I am not going to start. There are plenty of people in that niche. I do see things and think of a title in, say, 0.01 seconds. This is 'Indestructible Ice Cream'. Some of you will get the cultural reference, some won't. This is the voice of the Mysterons.... P1180224 - 8 June 2013
