Sheerness is a pretty dismal town on the Isle of Sheppey and, at first sight, has little to recommend it. Faded though it is, it is the home to some gems of Victorian architecture and this derelict building is probably foremost amongst them. It appears to be in two distinct parts and it is difficult to say whether some restoration is under way or intended. There appears to be some ecclesiastical influence in its facade.
