In the urban wasteland of Hayes, this sign above a passage leading away from Hayes & Harlington station held out the hope of something really interesting but the hope was not fulfilled. My subsequent internet search suggests I did not go far enough along Blyth Road but I also infer that there is now little to see of the former EMI buildings on sites now largely dominated by modern development. 200_3_P1020283E
