Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel, Bath Road, Longford. This photograph is about evening light, which I love. The hotel building itself is unattractive and has been lifted only a little by refurbishment. Once a Ramada and a Heathrow landmark for decades, it is operated by Arora and retains the Renaissance brand by arrangement with the Marriott group. TZ30_P1050205E

I don't know whether this has the desired effect or not but the view from the restaurant level of the Renaissance, Tel Aviv is quite striking. The camera has not matched the eye here but there was a sort of televisual/cinematic effect looking from dark into light and the waves were quite vigorous on this occasion too. TZ30_P1020121
