It has survived better than some 40 year old buildings and this might speak well of its design which, in fact, dates back much further to 1961. The Colston Hall and Colston Tower are both landmark buildings of Bristol. Both are fascinating but, arguably, only the Hall could be described as attractive. In a moment over a cup of tea, I was able to 'see' this shot to illustrate this collision of 19th and 20th centuries. TZ30_P1010025
