This nearly qualifies as one of my 'hybrid' photographs capturing two interests in one, in this case cricket and construction. At tea on day 4 of the LV= CC match v Surrey at The Ageas Bowl, I had an unobstructed view of the continuing construction of the Hilton Hotel at the northern end of the ground. 200_P1020624C

My first visit of the season to The Ageas Bowl and the first in a long while was for day 4 of an LV= CC match against Surrey already badly affected by rain. During the post-lunch session, Hampshire's James Tomlinson (21) walks back past Surrey's Dominic Sibley (45) to prepare a delivery for Rory Burns (17). Go! Rhinos is an exciting public art event in Southampton held 13 July - 22 September 2013. The trail requires a little effort to walk but I think it is worth it. I am posting a series of pictures which will show some portraits and some with the figures in the wider context of a very photogenic city.
