15 Morton Mews - 3 August 2014

An enforced drive around on arrival in Kensington was followed by a Sunday morning stroll to savour architecture I had spotted earlier. This building particularly attracted me and I deduce it to be 15 Morton Mews (I stand to be corrected). My uncertainty is caused by the fact that the Kensington area appears to have its own system with subordinate addresses and even street signs appearing within addresses indicated by their own street signs. The roads in this shot are Earls Court Gardens (right) and Knaresborough Place although an additional sign (visible to the right of the Maserati) marks Morton Mews. A peek into the courtyard reveals number 13 and thus suggests that number 15 would belong to Morton Mews. 200_P1050078

An enforced drive around on arrival in Kensington was followed by a Sunday morning stroll to savour architecture I had spotted earlier. A building which particularly attracted me I deduce to be 15 Morton Mews (I stand to be corrected) and has, in addition to a pleasing structure, these delightful frescos. My uncertainty about the address is caused by the fact that the Kensington area appears to have its own system with subordinate addresses and even street signs appearing within addresses indicated by their own street signs.
