Although the Covid era brought changes to the usage of Southampton's berths, Cunard ships are not commonly seen on 101 at City Cruise Terminal. To find Queen Mary 2 port side to quay was an added bonus.

As summer turned to autumn in 2020, most of the world's cruise ships remained idle, many along the south coast of the UK where, during the pandemic, I photographed them in three locations in addition to during port calls at Southampton and Portsmouth.
Cunard Queen Mary 2 was seen from Babbacombe at Torbay.

As cruise industry activity remained suspended during the coronavirus pandemic, no fewer than six ships could be found in Weymouth Bay. It was a magnificent but very sad sight. My photographs were taken from Osmington Mills.
P&O's largest ship Britannia is seen flanked by Carnival Valor and Cunard Queen Mary 2 with Marella Discovery.
