An urban fox has taken to frequenting my walled garden and in daylight too as my sightings have all been some time after dawn. I am delighted as I like foxes and this animal is not as scraggy as some one sees in the area. 200_4_P1040363E

This is an example of something I did not want - not what was planned at all, as the more distant animal was also meant to be in focus - but I have decided to use it on its own merits and return later to Whiteley Shopping Centre to take photographs as I intended them. This picture, taken with the two foxes featured earlier in my photostream, imagines an encounter between rivals, perhaps friendly, perhaps not. The outcome, companionship or territorial dispute.
