A single car from Metropolitan-Cammell Class 101 dmu 101322. This car has TransClyde titles and I think it is the Driving Motor. Taken in the days when depots were many, usually had locomotives and when a courteous request to look round was usually met with a courteous and affirmative reply. Ayr Depot is a little to the south of Newton-on-Ayr station.
