They appeared to be returning from the International Mini Meet [Bristol 8-12 August 2019]. They were later joined by two more Danish Minis and I understand that one of the group of visitors was there to fly in a Spitfire. My partner is slightly obsessed with duvet sets and the acquisition of bed linen in general. His interests have finally converged with mine with the arrival of this amazing duvet cover featuring the VW Beetle, Fiat 500 and 2CV, three of my absolute favourites and the Mini which is rather more distant in my affections. I shall sleep a happy sleep under this cover. TZ30_P1030298

This rather awkwardly painted Mini was seen at Exeter services (M5). The type of car and its name 'Veronica' have family connotations which is why it caught my eye to be added to my slightly selective album 'Motor Vehicles'. The vehicle was still in the same spot on 9 July having, apparently, not moved. 200_2_P1050810

In bright sunshine and in front of the Swansea Marriott, this 1991 Rover Mini looked splendid and is a reminder that today's cars which bear the name but seem to be about twice the size are not really Minis. 200_2_P1050629R
