Daytime layovers at Stansted allowed these two B767s to be photographed on the cargo apron. They are UPS B767-300 N307UP and ABX Air B767-200 N749AX. P1010333C

Last evening, heavy rain brought the snails out on the march, setting off in all directions. I rather like snails; they seem to like walls. Today, it was time for me to play. I loved the pattern of the shell, the texture of the wall and the shadow. Some editing within my very limited ability brought out quite a lot of detail. 200_2_P1060115C2_HDR_E2

I follow the Southampton cruise ship schedule quite closely but not, it would appear, closely enough.The presence of Oceania Marina came as a surprise to me when I opened the page today and, having been in it only recently, I wondered if it was a late addition. I was able to capture the ship passing Cowes underway to Amsterdam at the start of a Scandinavian cruise. Although the evening brightened later, it was rather dull when I reached the Lee shore and I have used some clumsy editing to get this effect. I would like to thank my remarkable TZ30 for getting the shot at all. Oceania is an infrequent visitor to Southampton but sister ship Nautica is due in on 20 June 2013. TZ30_P1000752EPM
