This chapel, used for weddings, is, perhaps surprisingly, in the grounds of the Blue Palace Resort, Crete. TZ70_P1010166R

Goodrich Castle (16) - 18 September 2017

Although ruined, the English Heritage owned Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire is one of the most beautiful and accessible I have been to. A special surprise within the castle was the Chapel dating back to the late 13th century, once truly ruined and now partially restored with the addition of more recent stained glass windows. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodrich_Castle Chapel Collage

Of particular interest are three windows commemorating the work of the Radar Research Squadron. More details can be found at the link below. www.iwm.org.uk/memorials/item/memorial/32833 Chapel Radar

Kaple sv. Máří Magdalény - 17 August 2017

Kaple sv. Máří Magdalény/Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene This beautiful but sadly abused chapel stands on the Edvard Beneš embankment at the north west corner of the Čech Bridge in Prague. Circular and in the Baroque style, it was built in 1635 and is still in use today. The Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 10am. The graffiti are all too evident and the stucco is peeling. If you look very carefully at the image on the left, you can just see an empty water bottle lodged in the window aperture above the door. Kaple
