If It Was You - 26 November 2017

This beautifully drawn poster was on the lower deck of former Stagecoach Volvo Olympian 16752/R752DRJ during its public viewing shortly before it was moved to St Agatha's Church, Portsmouth where it joined the Robert Dolling Project after being donated by The Bus Project, Portsmouth. A cheery interior will greet those able to be temporarily sheltered in the converted bus. 200_3_P1030981CE

The New Arrival - 10 September 2017

On 4 September 2017, the slightly delayed transfer of the franchise operated by South West Trains took place. South Western Railway is owned jointly by FirstGroup and MTR Corporation. It is going to take a fair chunk of the planned investment referred to on the poster to make Fratton even slightly salubrious. The poster holder has been tagged as seems inevitable for both the times and the area. 200_3_P1020954

Citizen Chain - 15 November 2013

This amusing poster appears in the window of the Citizen Chain Cyclery (sic) in Powell Street, San Francisco. I have decided on a b&w treatment partly for more impact and partly to reduce the effect of the reflections in the shop window. P1190110M

Phenomenal - 4 June 2013

The real point of this photograph is to draw attention to the sloppy and essentially incorrect use of 'phenomena' as a singular. As I pondered this, I found myself faced with a dilemma. Should 'Jedward' be singular or plural to be followed by 'has' or 'have'? Does anyone have Stephen Fry's telephone number? Fareham Library, Fareham. P1180166_Inset
