This is my final post of today from Whiteley. As with some of the other images, I was very taken by the defined shadow and its potential role in the composition. Too often, heavy shadows can be detrimental to a photograph. In this picture the shadow becomes a part of the whole without disrupting the main subject, one of two examples of the Vagabond game on display at Whiteley Shopping Centre. P1180196

This is an example of something I did not want - not what was planned at all, as the more distant animal was also meant to be in focus - but I have decided to use it on its own merits and return later to Whiteley Shopping Centre to take photographs as I intended them. This picture, taken with the two foxes featured earlier in my photostream, imagines an encounter between rivals, perhaps friendly, perhaps not. The outcome, companionship or territorial dispute. On my first visit to the redeveloped Whiteley Shopping Centre in Hampshire, I concentrated on the details shown elsewhere in my photos and intend to return at a quieter time for the architectural and retail views. This is my only such shot on this occasion. P1180190
