The popular Shell garage at 264 Southampton Road, Titchfield is, for the time being, no more than piles of rubble as a major redevelopment takes place. The shop and car wash have been demolished. A Little Waitrose is to be brought to the site. The 'Coming Soon' seems to me a little misleading as reopening is scheduled for July 2021. 200_4_P1010415CE

A bridge camera is a humble tool in the hands of a modestly skilled photographer but, sometimes, the results can please even if not perfect. The Shell petrol station at Trerulefoot Roundabout in Cornwall looked so striking as I left a nearby restaurant that I just fired off a couple of handheld shots on iA. The conch shell was a little difficult to expose correctly in the colour original. The wood grain is wonderful. I wanted to see what the whole would look like in b&w. This is an abstract on Grand Turk. 200_P1000720M
