This boat on a trailer has been in Headley Close, Lee on Solent for some while but I have not previously seen it in ideal lighting. I was pleased with the opportunity today on my exercise walk if only because there are a limited number of walks one can undertake in a small area. Towards the edge of Tipner Lake lies this boat which, I have learned, has been there a long while decaying only slowly. It made an attractive study in today's sunlight. In this version, there is nice juxtaposition with The Sails of the South which greet visitors to Portsmouth at the northern end of the M275. 200_P1020100
