The town of Honfleur in Normandy has a history of mixed fortunes dating from the 11th century. Its 19th century recovery from earlier ruin was due in part to trade in wood which continues from the port today. This building houses two firms, Gastebois and Axas, both associated with the trade. 200_2_P1000151

SOOC again and intentionally in the style of Lluis this wood in water (at Whipsnade Zoo) and the surrounding colours were an irresistible subject. P1180683
