By way of some light relief from the parade of aeroplanes, in which not everyone is interested, I am posting two pictures of things which I found humorous. If I have to explain them, maybe we're not on the same wavelength, so I'll stick almost to the facts. I was at Barnes & Noble, Westfield, Palm Desert when this caught my eye. I am not expecting it to fly off the shelves with its niche subject matter and dull cover reminiscent of early Penguins. I hope you like my title if not that of the book. 200_2_P1010767

Accompanying me on this holiday (together with lighter reading) is a book to inform a forthcoming trip to Israel. Simon Sebag Montefiore's 'Jerusalem' is a magnificent history of that city and the religiously inspired turbulence which has marked its years. TZ30_P1010848
