As a matter of fact I do remember where I was when news was broadcast of the assassination of President Kennedy. On a previous, brief, visit to Dallas I saw The Book Depository. On this occasion, I visited the Sixth Floor Museum which is very good. Posting only three days away from the 56th anniversary of that fateful day reminds me of history and just how long my life has been. 200_3_P1110594R

Running about 38 minutes down, Amtrak GE P42DC locomotive no. 58 approaches EBJ Union Station, Dallas with train no. 21, the Texas Eagle, from Chicago to San Antonio. Train 21 operates daily with service continuing west to Los Angeles as train no. 421 on three days of the week.
