Where the much injured Wilts & Berks Canal passes under Foxham Way in Swindon the bridge as been brightened by these two creatures which may or may not be hedgehogs. I don't explicitly condone graffiti nor am I remotely artistic myself but in an area scarred by clumsy works to the canal, out of control development and vandalised lifebelts, this is not the worst thing. I do think that the tags spoil what could be a nice creation. 5300_DSC_2883

Vienna is a beautiful city but one as affected as any I have seen by graffiti. This is nowhere more in evidence than on a walk along the Donaukanal, in this case between Salztorbrücke and Augartenbrücke. Geotagging approximate. 200_3_P1020765

This is the second picture in my occasional series showing what we do to the places we live. Helsinki is actually a pretty pleasant city albeit one with soulless suburbs but it has not escaped entirely the scourges of litter and graffiti. This subway is near Central Station. 200_2_P1120038
