I strongly believe in and defend the sanctity of disabled spaces and believe too that that sanctity should also be observed by legitimate users. This Mercedes, at Tesco Whiteley, was displaying a Blue Badge but the choice of parking position, depriving three other potential users of a space, appears both indefensible and inexplicable. This German registered Bachert bodied Mercedes former fire truck was in the improbable location of Morrisons' car park in Bridport. If correctly marked, it once belonged to the Freiwillige Feuerwehr der Stadt Schortens. Schortens is a small town in Lower Saxony. This vehicle appears to have been adapted into a camper van of sorts and the couple with it (and their dog) had been getting provisions at Morrisons. 200_3_P1070308CE

Emsworth & District Mercedes SN55FPL at Rownhams services M27(W). This operator's bus fleet might kindly be described as 'varied' (in both types and appearance) but their small coach fleet has adopted this fairly pleasing scheme. 200_P1020130

This Mercedes coach with unidentified bodywork (any information welcome), operated by Azur Pullman Voyages was engaged for several days on shuttle duties to and from the AC Hotel Nice in association with the Jeux de la Francophonie (which are held every four years in a post-Olympic year). It was seen in soothing evening light outside the hotel in Rue Honoré Sauvan. X20_DSCF2185
