Eastleigh is a place I can reach easily at short notice and I am determined to record periodically the place and its visitors in the early 21st century. Equipment and colour schemes come and go and, one day, my photographs, amongst thousands of others, might be a valuable source of reference. I am particularly keen to record the Network Rail Class 57s which have already had a number of incarnations. The bank holiday Sunday saw three of the class in the yard and they were (from right) 57305, 57312 'Peter Henderson' and 57301. Two more (57303 and 57306) were in the works area. P1180831C
