D-Day Memorial, Warsash - 12 December 2015

Having so recently marked various 70th anniversaries of events of WWII, it is remarkable to see this memorial in Warsash which commemorates the 40th anniversary of D-Day. It was unveiled by the Countess Mountbatten on 5 June 1984.

Clock Tower, Warsash - 12 December 2015

The clock tower in Warsash was built c1900 by the Warsash House Estate to house a 6000 gallon water tank which was later removed. The tower is now a private residence.
